VIDEO: Tsunami Damage in Pago Pago, American Samoa
It is tragic, yet inspiring, to witness the aftermath of the tsunami that pummeled Samoa yesterday. As someone of Samoan descent, I lived there as a kid, and still have family there. From the looks of this video, the recovery and rebuilding efforts will be great. I have no doubt, though, that resiliency will ensue. I suspect we'll find that Samoa is equal to the challenge of restoring and renewing the islands, in the face of this disaster. My thoughts and well-wishes go out to all of them.
